Not going out

The UK introduced different classifications of vulnerability, extremely clinically vulnerable and just clinically vulnerable. Those classed as extremely clinically vulnerable were told in March 2020 to basically stay home, do not go out, get everything delivered. MS with no other co-morbidities puts me in the clinically vulnerable and so we could still venture out. However we made some decisions to be tough and really limit contact.

We’ve been away from home a couple of times, to stay in places with enhanced hygiene protocols and can say that for one place we have stayed we were the first people in when lockdown eased in the summer and also the last people to stay before in was reintroduced with tiering at the end of the summer.

a a result since last March I’ve:

been in 1 shop, in Norfolk, which had extremely low rates of infection. not eaten out but collected food for takeaway not been on any form of public transport been in 6 different hospitals stayed overnight in 3 places which were not my home (one of which was a hospital).

It’s looking like we may get away to places in May so we have plans afoot.
